Jason "Easy Roc" Geoffrey, who grew up in Orange County California, became involved in Hip-Hop in 1983, at the age of 13. At this time it was common to be involved in more than one aspect of this newly discovered culture, so Jason found himself not only learning a new and fascinating pastime, known as Breaking (Break-Dance), but also transfersona for the next 20 years. From that time on he would be known as ìEasy Rocî simply because he made it all look so easy.

Breaking had transformed Jason from shy geek to B-Boy chic, but when the dance suffered itís pre-mature demise (86-87) Easy Roc (Jason) was devastated. It was clear that he would have to find another form of physical expression. He had always been involved with Skate Boarding & BMX racing, so it was at this time that he became involved in another new pastime, (Freestyle BMX). Easy Roc devoted all his time to this budding sport, all the while, he continued to represent the B-Boy style of dance, incorporating it into his bike performance. He soon became one of the sports most notable figures, gaining sponsorships from companies like Vans Tennis Shoes & G.T. Bicycles and traveling the world competing and performing. It was at this time that he discovered his love for performing and his addiction to the limelight.

Easy Rocís dedication to Breaking & the culture of Hip-Hop paid off when, in 1991, he was approached by the Rock Steady Crew to become a member of their group. Easy Roc had stuck by the Dance through itís down time and was now on the front lines of itís long awaited comeback. By this time his stylish combination of footwork, spins and acrobatic moves had earned him a reputation as one of the most innovative B-Boys on the West Coast. Easy Roc joined Rock Steady and in 2001 Crazy Legs made him the co Vice Pres.

In addition to the Rock Steady Crew, Easy Roc has performed with some of todayís most recognized Pop artists and Rock groups and appeared in countless music videos, commercials, and stage shows. In 1999 he set a Guinness World record for the most continuous head spins and appeared on several TV shows as a result. He has also worked on several block buster films as a dancer, actor, & stunt double. Easy Roc is as natural behind the camera as in front and in addition to acting, sees himself directing in the near future.

The newest development in this artistís life is his interest and talent toward fashion & interior design. Since the early days of Do-It-Yourself Hip-Hop fashion, Easy Roc has always had a nac for designing & customizing clothes, cars, bikes, furniture, etc. He is now incorporating his graffiti roots & eclectic interests into his own clothing line as well as a line of one-of-a-kind Art Furniture ìSkatter Brain Designsî. He hopes to get involved with or perhaps host his own Design show in the future.
